Shipping Policy

The Moppet Shoppe ships orders Monday - Friday using UPS Ground with delivery confirmation. Express delivery and overnight delivery are also available. Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process and should be received within 7 business days of order date. Express mail items typically take 1-2 business days to process and should arrive within 1-2 business days after your order has been processed. Overnight delivery orders take 1-2 days to process and should arrive the next business day after your order has been processed.

If an item is unavailable, you will be notified by telephone or e-mail. 

If you need to ship items to more than one address you will need to place separate orders.

Return Policy
If you need to return an item to The Moppet Shoppe, you may do so within 14 days of receipt. We will only accept returns of unused items in their original condition with tags attached, for an exchange or refund. Used items and personalized items cannot be accepted for exchange or refund. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

1. To return an item(s), circle the item(s) on the invoice you are returning. Please note your reason for return.
    
2. You must indicate if you prefer a credit or exchange. If exchanging, let us know what you would like by noting the name, color, size and quantity.
    
3. There are no returns or exchanges on merchandise discounted 50% or more.
   
4. If shipping address has changed, please include the proper address.
    
5. Pack and seal return securely and include packing slip. We are not responsible for lost items, so please insure accordingly. All packages must be prepaid-we cannot accept C.O.D.'s

7. Please allow 30 days for your credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Sales Tax
Sales tax must be calculated at the rate of  4% for all orders delivered in Louisiana. All deliveries outside of Louisiana will not pay sales tax.

Gift Wrap
We will be happy to gift wrap and include a personalized card with any items you purchase. This is available for $3.00 per gift. You may choose the gift wrap you desire while adding the item to your basket; then add to your basket like you would any normal item. Please type your personal message into the box provided so that we may handwrite a note to your recipient. In situations of multiple gifts, please specify which paper and/or card goes with which present, and again, please place a separate order if there is more than one shipping destination.

The Moppet Shoppe  only collects personally identifying information with your specific knowledge and consent. For instance, when you enter the online store, you are able to browse without revealing any personal data.

Should you decide to purchase items, you will be requested to fill in further personal details, including your email address and credit card number. Your email address is used to contact you if we have problems verifying your credit card. The only other purpose we use your email is to send you sale information, usually twice a year. We will not share any information you provide us. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing list or any information about you with anyone under any circumstances.
